2005- Finished tied for second on the team in goals (23) and ranked fourth in points (29)
• Led the team with seven goals in the NCAA Tournament and added two assists for nine points in the NCAAs
• Also led the team with four game-winning goals on the year
2006-led the team in goals (30) and finished second in points (36)
• Also tied for the team lead in extra-man goals (4) and game-winning goals (2) and tied for fourth in assists (6)
• Ranked 17th in the nation in goals per game (2.14) and shooting percentage (.353) was tops on the team among players who took 20 or more shots
2007-finished fourth on the team in points (31) and assists (9) and fifth in goals (22)
• Added 24 ground balls, a team-high six extra-man goals and one game-winning goal
2008-Second on the team in goals(34) and points(43). Named to the All-Tournament Team.

SHAWN BURKE
As a high school attackman prepping at Calvert Hall College High School, Coach Burke was an All Baltimore City/County selection in 1991 under former coach Mike Thomas. He then moved on to play for current Lacrosse Hall of Fame coach Don Zimmerman at the University of Maryland at Baltimore County. After graduating from UMBC in 1996, Burke returned to his high school alma mater, Calvert Hall, to work as an offensive assistant for the Cardinals from 1997-2002, before being named the Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach at Howard Community College in Columbia, Maryland in 2003.
As the Head Coach at Howard Community College, Burke was named the NJCAA Region XX Coach of the Year in 2005, 2006 and 2007, while producing the program’s first 10 NJCAA All Americans, as well as coaching 33 Dragons during that time frame that were named to the NJCAA All-Region XX Team. Burke also helped guide the Dragons to their first ever Maryland JUCO title in 2006, as well as their first ever NJCAA Region XX in 2007, with a 14-1 record. 2007 also marked Howard’s first ever appearance in the NJCAA National Final Four, finishing with a #3 national ranking in Lacrosse Magazine and Inside Lacrosse. During the 2007 season, the Dragon offense averaged a hefty 18.4 goals per game, produced three NJCAA All-Americans on the offensive end, as well as the NJCAA Region XX Offensive Player of the Year, for the second year in a row. Coach Burke currently resides in Baltimore, MD with his wife Susan and their daughter Emma.
TORRE KASEMEYER
Torre Kasemeyer began his career at Western Maryland College where he was a two-time all-conference attackman. He was twice in the top 15 scoring in the nation (Division III). He had the privilege of playing for both MLC and the Mount Washington Lacrosse Club. In 1997, he joined the Varsity Lacrosse Staff at Calvert Hall College High School, and he has spent the last nine seasons as the team’s offensive coordinator. In 2003, the Cardinals won the MIAA Championship. He has coached two C. Markland Kelly award-winners. He is a two-time staff member for the Bay State and has coached the under 19 Team Maryland vs. Team Canada. He was named the 2007 MIAA Assistant Coach of the Year. Coach Kasemeyer currently resides in Baltimore with his wife Danielle and their son Braeden.
LAUREN TRABER
As a midfielder at the University of Maryland at Baltimore County(UMBC) from 1999-2003, Lauren was a four year letter winner for the Division I program. She was named a Captain for the Retrievers in both her junior and senior campaigns, as well as being named to the All-Northeast Conference first team in 2002 and 2003. Lauren also helped lead the Retrievers to consecutive NCAA Division I Tournament appearances during her final two seasons in Catonsville. After graduating in 2003, Lauren worked as an offensive assistant coach on the UMBC staff in 2004 and 2005 under former Head Coach Monica Yeakel. She currently works as a team sales representative for Sports Her Way in Towson, Maryland and resides in Baltimore County.
TONY NUGENT
Tony Nugent is a 1995 graduate of the University of Virginia where he was a four year starter in the midfield. In addition to being a faceoff specialist, Tony ran with the first unit, earning Honorable Mention All America honors as a senior. He played in two Final Fours, unfortunately losing in overtime vs. Princeton in the 1994 Championship and in the semifinal game in 1995 to eventual champion Syracuse in 1995. Tony’s roots are in the Baltimore area where he played for Calvert Hall. In 1991, he was the Player of the Year in Maryland, a high school All American, and the Ensign C. Markland Kelly Award winner for the area’s best player. He was also a member of the US under 19 World Championship Team in 1992 where he was awarded the “Best and Fairest Player” in the World Championship. Tony is currently coaching at Calvert Hall where he serves as the defensive coordinator and faceoff coach.
